Default Wanting to get back to a ti

Hey I posted a lot here a while back, but my ti was stolen and set on fire so I moved on to a 325i. I've done a lot of work to it (turbo, coilovers, the usual) but I miss the awesome little machine my ti was. So I'm looking for another ti as a project car. Maybe one with a blown motor. So my questions are.

-What's the average price for these now?
-Are there any new options for FI besides DASC?

I had more questions but now that I typed all that out I forgot. Anyway I'm looking foward to getting back into a ti and surfing this forum again.

There are too many variables to narrow it down enough to give a useful answer. I suggest doing a few searches on cars.com, autotrader.com, craigslist, etc. to see what's out there for sale.

DASC isn't much of an option any more since they're out of production. It seems like you need a lot of good luck and good karma to find a used one. There's a new turbo attempt in the works here, and it actually looks promising. I think the builder mentioned that they were considering putting together a kit once they're successful. A quick search should find that thread easily.

Good luck!

Nope didn't get a dime. They gave me names of who did it but never really said they caught them. I gave up on all of it.

The funny thing is the front bumper on the white E36 in my sig is from the green ti that was stolen. Same for the headlights.

Yeah thats what I said. The bumper was taken off before they burned it and thrown to the side. The headlights were off because I broke a clip on one and needed to find a new lense.
