Default M-Tech door molding

I want to buy the M-Tech door molding for my ti, but I don't know where to get them. I have seen M3 two door kits being sold, but does anyone know if they fit??? or is the body different???

Here's the realoem.com diagram with the part number for the entire kit. Part # 51132267003. http://tischerbmw.net/ Is the best price I can find right now. $163.20 for the kit.

I think the 318ti parts for the most part are unique, so a 2 door kit will not fit. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

I assume the fender moldings would be the sedan ones, and the quarter would be ti-specific, why the hell couldn't BMW make it easy?

Well as long as you can find someone to sell you the front door and fender moldings from a sedan you can keep the price down by only having to buy the quarter panel moldings. Do all sport models come with these moldings? I was looking at a 97 Sport a while ago and it had these moldings and Im 98% sure that the PO didnt put them on.

I just looked up the door moldings on the DDM website and it says that it will fit the 318ti (96-98)....Im just wondering if they give you specific ones or they just assume that they will fit...?

We do not currently offer these moldings for BMW E36 ti, OEM only.
That's on DDMs page. The thing at the bottom is wrong.

Bavauto I know sells the entire kit for the ti, if tischer doesnt have them. Thats a great price for brand new techies!

Bavauto charges around 190$. Finding a used kit in good cond is hard to find. some may have rust or been tweeked from pulling them off.

If your a perfectionist, used ones will not mount tight! FYI......

And confirmed, fronts=sedan......doors=coupe? I dont think so, sedans may fit. Rear's are def ti/compact specific.

M-tech ti mouldings have different part#'s from every other e36.

Good Luck!

Default Moldings

Thanks that's what i wanted to know....

I took a tape measure to the fender moldings off a 97 4door M3 and and my stock ti, and they look like they will fit, they are both 8 1/2 inches long.

I hope this will help....
