Question My heated seats don't work

I believe the switches work fine because all four of the settings light up or turn off when you touch them but it does not feel as if the seats are getting any warmer. I even tried this in cold weather as not to skew my judgment if the seats were actually heating up or if it was my body heat. Would it be that the heater elements in the seats themselves are burned in two or something wrong with the electrical system before it gets to the seats. If I am correct there are two parts that are heated on each seat, the back and bottom, and I do not believe that either of them worked on both seats. Any help would be appreciated.

I think its the heater element on the under part of the seat...not too expensive to buy

or it could be a bad switch switch...try the under part first...that would make more sense failing

What exactly are you referring to as the heater element, and how much will it cost.
