I want just the halos. What are your recomendations. i looked at one set on ebay... but they said it will fit cars "with projector ellipsoid low beam headlights and removable glass lens or US headlights, non replaceable sealed plastic lenses must upgrade to euro projector headlights first". Wll i have to upgrade my headlights to put any kind angel eyes in? | | | 07-14-2006, 08:51 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Memphis, Tn Posts: 1,299 | I was pretty sure that you would have to convert the whole headlight assembley to have angel eyes. I know of one kit online that comes with everything you need to have angel eyes. go to www.bavauto.com and enter your car series and year and then look up angel eyes. i belive they may cost like $500 for the whole kit, that includes both headlights. not to bad of a price. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 07-14-2006, 05:50 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Puerto Rico Posts: 885 | ebay.com, open your current headlamps, and put it, is a custom job, but work, i do it to my friend 95 M3, work fine, no leak, about one year ago __________________ BMW...MY NEW TOY Mods: Some plastic parts, ///M Wheels and me | | | 07-14-2006, 11:20 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Toronto Posts: 167 | The only possibly way to remove the glass off your stock headlights is by heating the glue and then removing the glass and installing the angel eyes. Most people put it in their oven until the glue heats up. If you ask me it is too much trouble, just buy yourself a set of euro ellipsoids. They can be purchased off ebay for about $160 dollars with angel eyes already installed in them. | | | 07-15-2006, 03:36 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Puerto Rico Posts: 885 | 1+ __________________ BMW...MY NEW TOY Mods: Some plastic parts, ///M Wheels and me | | | 07-15-2006, 04:20 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Tyler, TX Posts: 1,022 | Quote: Originally Posted by flex_318 The only possibly way to remove the glass off your stock headlights is by heating the glue and then removing the glass and installing the angel eyes. Just be careful to not force the glue or you might crack the lense | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
