My friend got offered 4 tickets to the Lenox Industrial Tools 300 at Loudon NH last night. We were on a cruise in boston and around 10 he gets a call and next thing you know we have the tickets. I've never been and it was pretty cool,it was to hot out though,i baked up in the sun. We had awesome seats in the grandstand right passed the finish line 45 rows up. We could see all the cars pit and work on the cars,it was sweet. Saw a couple accidents amd the coolest part was standing 10 feet back off the fence and watch those cars haul ass past you. Just the sound alone was crazy but 300 laps took a toll on me and i just got home. My travel in the ti today was 278 miles and she handled it great. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 07-17-2006, 03:49 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | I'm going to my first race this Sunday, I can't wait!!!! It's fun to listen to the differences in the engines for a little bit, but after awhile you really need earplugs. | | | 07-17-2006, 04:39 PM | #4 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by GDB Those things get loud. It was so loud down there which was cool but you got sick of it quick. When they leave the pit they sound so bad ass, wish my car sounded like that. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 07-17-2006, 05:47 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Michigan Posts: 169 | Fathers day 2005 I was sitting right in the middle of turn 3 and turn 4 at MIS at the Batman returns 400, 180 down the backstretch and sliding into and outa 3 & 4 was way cool.
