Default gas pedal "buzzing" over 3000 rpm...bzzzz

For some strange reason I'm picking up alot of vibration through my throttle. It's fine until around 3k rpm. Right at 3k it feels like I have bees in my foot...alot of bees right up to redline bzzzzzz bzzzzzzz

We thought it was the strut bar. The throttle was actually getting hung up under the RD 'bar. I tore that off and the stickyness disappeared but I'm still getting the ridiculous buzzzzing. Checked the throttle cable. Seems fine and has smooth action

FYI I recently replaced the motor mounts (Stock), guibo, center support bearing and trans mounts (UUC supports).

i have read that the uuc mounts can cause some more vibration but will get better as it breaks in. could be that.

oh wait no its the rear difuser.. dont worry though i will take it off your hands and give you my "vibration free" version

^^Uhh yeah originally thought it was the rear diffuser of course. That wasn't it. Turns out I have the special M Tech silicone filled diffuser from Europe...... haha

Well the buzzing was there before the UUC enforcers. I can feel the slight extra vibration from those. I'ts hardly anything and I'm glad about that. No this is some kind of super buzz coming from the motor...or possibly something touching the frame. Don't know.

My cars manual w/dasc and the throttle is right there for me to mess with luckily. No cover nothing but cables. I searched the prior owners posts and only came up with his thread on weird idle which the car still has. I'm solving that crap today though.

Um... so your diffuser has silicone implants? I want to see that... but at the same time, I don't. LOL

Check the metal guard on the front of the cat, mine has broken away at the weld and seems to buzz at about 3000 rpm. I will get it welded at sometime in the future as it is very annoying.

Cats fine. Just replaced last week with brand new hi flow. Original cat is fine also. The rest of the exaust is solid as well.

At this point I'm thinking it could just be a rough running situation. I'm in the midst of a full tune up (plugs, 8mm wires etc.) with the injectors going off for cleaning and flow match today. Also cleaning all the other likely suspects + looking for bad hoses .

Found a bad gasket on the ICV for starters. ICV was amazingly clean but it was missing about 1/3 of the gasket. PCV looks brand new. Throttle body is now spotless.
