Posts: 3,156 | Stock sport ti & M3 parts (1998 vintage) OK Guys. I have moved again, and need to make some room. I'm tired of moving these pars around! Descriptions may be vague, but if something looks interesting, let me know. I am in the New Haven CT area, and can deliver some parts up through CT, MA, RI, VT, NH and ME for a reasonable fee. You can also pick-up. Shipping could easily eclipse cost on big parts... PArts are from my ti I bought new in 98. NO WINTERS so no rust or corrosion! Ti parts: - stock sport suspension front and rear sway bars (with all links) (SOLD)
- CONFIRMED I have the front springs
- Stock bright red mirrors (heated, tinted, power)
- 1.9l air mass meter
- coil pack and wires (available)
- starter (did not get my hands on this so it may be gone?)
- MAYBE alternator
- CONFIRMED 1.9l DME (1998)
- 2 new genuine BMW oil filters (SOLD)
- secondary throttle (ASC) and boot
- Black plastic try that goes under the radiator (not expensive at dealer)

- secondary throttle (ASC) cable
M3 parts: - New windshield washer bottle with new cap

I replied. | | | 05-03-2012, 07:22 AM | #4 | Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: American Falls Idaho Posts: 30 | I am interested in a sport rear bar, is it the 16mm one? I am also wondering about the rear sport springs, I have read they are roughly .6" lower, but are they any stiffer? Prices one these would be great and if you can estimate shipping to a business in 83211 that would be even better! PS, it is normally cheaper to ship to a business with most companies. | | | 05-03-2012, 12:50 PM | #5 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | Front is 26mm; rear is 16mm Front is (at least- BMW prices are always going up) $181.17 new; rear is $131.20 new. Rear links are $23.10 each new, and are included, as are all the bushings and mount brackets. True bolt-in swap. | | | 05-04-2012, 04:29 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | Jim, I just replied to your last p.m. to me. These are the calipers for the vented rotors, correct? | | | 05-08-2012, 09:50 PM | #11 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | No carriers; calipers are marked: "BMW 54/12" ATE brand of course, hoses attached. (and bolts seem to be there too) The car was made 4/98 and I don't remember if they were solid or vented... Vented I guess but cannot swear to it as the rest of the front end (except springs and sways) are long gone. (time flies!) | I believe 4/98 was the change over date so if they came off of a 4/98 build date car, they should be for vented rotors. Anything else you need/want? I have a bunch of parts I'm looking to unload as well, I just haven't gotten around to posting them. | | | 05-09-2012, 12:02 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2009 Location: Orange County, CA Posts: 2,019 | __________________ V2 in progress.
