1 couple was older.

There was a guy at my school that had a red regular new beetle that actually looked somewhat nice...although I think it had the 2.slow in it.

OK, i just picked up my Ti today, and i'm totally in love with it.
my wife was with me when i drove it back home and she loves it too.
she wasn't too keen on getting a bimmer (coz of the price) but i'm sure she has changed her mind now.

so, it's totally not a girly car. It's just so good, that everyone loves it.

we stopped off to get some groceries on the way home. after loading the shopping into the boot, i went to return the shopping trolley, only to come back to my bimmer with my wife in the drivers seat!! hehehe. she sooo wanted to drive it, but too bad she can't drive manual. i'm gonna have to teach her now coz she want's to drive it!

in conclusion, i can say that it's definitely not girly! it's a peoples car....but not a VW :P

Same with my boss, he was like "damn you got a chicks car" I was like "bull****" I can stick a 328 engine, I see the ti as a hybrid, and many people call hybrids sissy cars anyway, yet they are the way of the future! Also i just tell anyone who says that that I like hatchbacks rather then trunks...less weight, no big butt.

I know that feeling. Here's a pic of my driveway from Sat. As you can see we're a 2 ti family, the wife remains happy :-) my current problem is that she figured out that the 5 speed is a lot faster and wants to learn to drive mine too... grrr, I can never win

my wife has a jeep and I drive the ti ... I really can't complain at all. She likes my car a lot, though, so I just have to make sure she doesn't steal it

I wouldn't consider it a girl car **BUT** I have to say that the 318ti definately has a higher "girly" factor than say... an M3. Obviously not as girly as a cabriolet, beetle, or miata, but still... an import hatchback isn't exactly the most testosterone-laden vehicle money can buy. (I would say that a guy who owns a 318ti is confident enough that he doesn't have to buy a Mustang or some such...)

This is based primarily on the fact that I have had at least 2 women tell me the 318ti was "cute".
My wife thinks that M3's look too "macho", but she is fine with the 318ti.

i drove a red corolla hatch back in Aust! it was decorated with soft toys and dogbone pillows on the front seat by my wife. That definitely was a girly car. hehehe!

but my silver Ti is no where near as girly as my corolla. this one has balls!
go the hatchbacks!!
