Default Alarm Died Pt 2

Horn shorted out but there is alot of electroincs in this horn I would think that an off the shelf horn from local auto store would not work?????

What do you all think???? picture of circuit board included

so is the alarm fine and just the horn died or what?

that circuit board is from the horn itself? is the horn specific to the alarm (ie, it does not use the standard car horn, but a seperate one)?

Probably the ground on the horn. US versions at least have it sitting in a place where it gets pretty wet.

You can pull the wires and stick a 9v to it to see if you get sound. It's just a really big piezoelectric buzzer.

Alarm horn and car horn are seperate items, bench tested alarm horn no chriping something must be shorted out on cicurit board. All the other parts of alarm system is working (ie door locks, dead bolts).
