US versions at least have it sitting in a place where it gets pretty wet. You can pull the wires and stick a 9v to it to see if you get sound. It's just a really big piezoelectric buzzer. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 01-19-2006, 10:12 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | where's the ground wire located for the horns? __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | 01-20-2006, 03:40 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Michigan Posts: 169 | Alarm horn and car horn are seperate items, bench tested alarm horn no chriping something must be shorted out on cicurit board. All the other parts of alarm system is working (ie door locks, dead bolts). vwt3 __________________ 95ti Alpine White, K&N cone filter, Fullcoilovers by GroundControl Koni adjustable,Eibach springs.
