Default Front camber plates

So I'm doing a fairly budget suspension overhaul on my 95 ti with 274k on it. The whole front end felt like it was going to fall out at any moment. So new control arms and bushes are fitted along with new tie rod ends at this point. I ordered a set of budget coilovers that I thought came with camber plates but it got here and I was mistaken. (I passed on the maxpeedingrods and went with tieftech, sold by hottuning on Ebay. Will give thoughts after they are instaled)

So now to my question, has anyone used the maxpeedingrods camber plates? I'm sure they are not great but like I said before I'm trying to keep the budget low. Are they total junk that I should pass on or are they good enough for a street car? Not planing on tracking the car just want to have a good tight street car.

Well ordered the cheap camber plates this morning so with any luck will be pulling the reinforcements for my v8 coupe project and installing the coilovers on the ti. I'll post pics and updates after install.

Default Install completed

Alrighty, had the day off on Friday so I drove into the coilover install. At first glance all of the budget parts look to be pretty good and most of the fitment went great. In fact the fronts nearly installed themselves, the rears however I have a bit of a problem with. The id of the adjustment plates were a bit to small, so I ended up installing the rear springs upside down with the height adjusters on the control arm rather than on the upper spring mount. This makes adjustment a bit more troublesome but dosnt seem to have any effect on the drivability.

I set it at about a 1.5 inch drop, witch is as low as I can go without installing wheel spacers(will get final measurements after the springs have settled for a week or so). I was aiming for 1.5 anyway so I'm not offended in the least, just wanted to put it out there if someone wanted to use the same kit( using 16x6 inch wheels of an e46)

Have put 30ish miles on it so far and have not had a computer alignment done yet but did the best I could with a tape measure and a square. So far i have no major problems, just the standard pops that come with budget coilovers (think i will get some washers and thrust bearings for the front to fix that). The ride is very good, stiff but not harsh. I spent lots of time researching spring rates from the various manufacturers and found that this set was the softest, and for my taste and goals for the car it seems to be a great option.
