I've got one coming out of my '95 this weekend. Not sure if its any different than the '96 version. Nothing wrong with it, just putting a manual in its place.

My 96 (M44) auto tranny is for sale. It’s got 150,000 kms and it has been regularly serviced and maintained. I replaced it with an e36 m3 5-speed unit.
