Default m44 disa valve in m42 manifold

Does it physically fit?

I have a broken m42 DISA at the moment ... rather than buying crap for the over complicated vacuum setup trying to fix it, I'd love to just swap to an all electric m44 setup.

As far as control goes, they both seem to work the same: 12v to keep it open and then the voltage is cut at whatever rpm to close it ... maybe I'm just talking nonsense but I think I could make the functional side of it work easily if it actually fits in the manifold.
