really cant decide which is better, especially against the british racing green BM.

If anything the bottom one. Unless they are genuine BMW parts you need to be careful about the fit. I'd worry about leaking. You don't want to go with the BMW clears?

Consider this: the stock tail lights are signature BMW. The more you stray from that (e.g. the first option) the less your car looks like a bimmer. Honda copied the e36 proportions, groove in the side and angled tail light edges. Why make yours look like a Honda with the circular tail lights?

I've seen smoke colored rear lenses but don't care for them either.
I believe people should be able to see your brake lights.
The smoke colored ones make it difficult to see the light.

i'd say get the OEM clears. those aftermarket ones are crap, and as 96cali said, it's not a bimmer if it doesn't have bimmer parts.

Yeah, the first lights are just too crazy and wouldn't compliment a Bimmer. My clear tailights and sidemarkers are geniune BMW parts, but my clear corners are OE, but they look and fit fine.
