Arrow Feeler: Alpine 6 disc changer and Alpine adapter.

Well since i have an ipod now and will be upgrading my HU and will no longer need the cd changer it's going to be for sale. I will post the model # when i get home. I bought it about 3-4 yrs ago for $250 and the adapter was $99,i'd like to get $150 for both. I have never had any problems with it,if anyone has any questions let me know and i'll try and answer them for you. Just fyi it is in my 98ti.

Edit: Model # is chm 5620,price has been dropped.

I'd like to sell both of the items together not just the cd player.

As far as I can tell, you never told us what kind of changer it is you're trying to sell. You mentioned buying it with an "adapter" so I assume it isn't a BMW original changer. Is it the adapter and the changer you're trying to sell "together", or the changer and the old head-unit? It might be helpful to show a photo, give some specs, and tell us how it was mounted and what brackets come with it. Also, the model of the radio/head-unit would be good to know, since you've presumably already got it out of the car.

Well in my 1st post i stated it was an Alpine cd changer, model # at the bottom of the post. I have a stock HU and instead of buying the same cd changer from bmw for $500 i bought the Alpine unit and then bought the adapter so i can control the cd's from the stock HU. Pictures of the cd chager are located in my gallery of it installed. The brackets that came with it were meant to be attached on the rear of the seat or the rear shelf in the boot,i installed on rear seat since i do not use the trunk. The $90 is for the changer and i'm just tossing in the cable just to get it off my hands. The adapter was purchased seprately from the changer,it allows you to use your stock hu to controll it

Thanks for clearing that up. I missed the model number and since Alpine makes the OE units for BMW it was a bit confusing. I'm not interested since I'd never use the stock head units in these cars if I really wanted to hear music, but for those with the stock head unit and no CDs it's a very fair price.
