Default New rim idea....

Ive been going back and forth with deciding on new rims for my ti and have come up with another stlye that i like. I believe its style 108?! from the E85 Z4. I think theyd look really nice on my ti and pretty sure they would fit. The measurements are 8JX18 ET:47 and 81/2JX18 ET:50 and shouldnt require modification to fit. the downside is that theyre 18's which means more expensive tires and most likely heavier. Any thoughts or opinons.

your current ones look 10x better, IMO... the 5 stars on the bottom picture fit & look like they were made for the 318ti body.

I like the rims you have on now. But, do what you like.

Pretty easy to find other ways to spend your money too.

I dont have the MM-II's anymore, they were sold over the winter. Ive been searching for another set, but since theyre not made anymore, its kind of hard to come by in decent condition. Right now, i only have my stock 15-spokes and Evo5 rims.

Those don't look too bad. I don't think I'd do the stagger though. The ti really doesn't need 8 1/2 of wheel in the rear. It would save you some money on the wheels, tires and gas.

I was thinking the same thing. I would prefer to find some replica 17x8's if possible.

I've always liked the look of the style 108's on the z4, and I think the ti could pull them off nicely. With the high offsets they are running, you may get some rubbing on the inside of your wheel-well especially if you run the Bmw recommended tire size of 255/35 in the rear. Nothing that a set of spacers can’t fix though.

I'd fully recommend running a staggered setup on the ti; it gives our car a much better stance, and by today’s standards an 8.5" wheel in the back isn’t all that big....I may be running a 9.5" in the rear pretty soon.
