Default WTB/WTT my Mustang for 318ti

I am looking for a 318ti with a 5 speed near New Jersey. I would like to trade my '92 Mustang 5.0L LX (auto) for one. It is ok if the motor or trans need work, as long as the body is in good shape.

Is the Stang posted for sale locally? Just thinkin you'd probably have better luck selling it, then use the cash towards a ti. Either way, best of luck. These are fun cars and you've come to the right place.

Yes, it is on the local Craig's List. I have to update the ad. Maybe llist on ebay as well? I'd rather trade than go through the hassle of selling.

From what I've found trading cars is almost never a good idea. Both people in the end most times end up feeling like they got the short end of the stick. I'd sell then buy. Or buy then sell. Either way you are comparing a car to the value of cash not to the value of another car. At the court house it's easier as well as they what you to pay tax on a cash value. As for CL. I love CL as a free place to find a deal or sell a deal. If you are undervaluing your mustang it would be a good place to sell it. Otherwise Put an ad in the newspaper. Either way make sure the car is clean inside and out. Run a carpet cleaner over the seats, wipe down the dash, give it a quick wax, degrease the engine. A clean car always impresses a buyer.
