From what I've found trading cars is almost never a good idea. Both people in the end most times end up feeling like they got the short end of the stick. I'd sell then buy. Or buy then sell. Either way you are comparing a car to the value of cash not to the value of another car. At the court house it's easier as well as they what you to pay tax on a cash value. As for CL. I love CL as a free place to find a deal or sell a deal. If you are undervaluing your mustang it would be a good place to sell it. Otherwise Put an ad in the newspaper. Either way make sure the car is clean inside and out. Run a carpet cleaner over the seats, wipe down the dash, give it a quick wax, degrease the engine. A clean car always impresses a buyer. |
