Default Car won't start (turn over)

When you turn the key nothing happens. No clicking at all. The battery is good and I have voltage to the starter. There is a slight voltage drop when i turn the key to start about a 1/2 volt.
The only thing I had noticed with the starting prior to this was a slight delay before the starter would turn after turning the key to the start position. Maybe a half second or less. But it changed on occasion, very slight difference but noticable (longer delay) after being used to the delay as it was. I tried to identify the start relay (if there is one) but was unable to find any diagram inside the fuse box.
Any Ideas where to look to solve this ?

A manual is now on my shopping list..Always after the fact

Default Update

Just went out to the car and it started. Starter turned a bit slow but it started twice.
Seems a bit odd.
Still need to figure this out, don't want to get stuck somewhere with this happening.

Default starter replaced

Thanks for the advice.
Created one problem but retraced my steps, left a connector loose on what i think is a control for the injection.

done

Hi,
I have the same issue on my 1995 318is. I am almost sure at this point that it is the starter soleniod. Can anyone help by giving me some advice on how to replace the starter??

I heard it is a PITA on our cars.

Thanks,
Dave
