Canada Posts: 465 | Rieger rear bumper....Yay or nay?? *pic* I've gotta do something about the rear of my ti; I’ve got about 3" of ground clearance in the front and at least double that in the back! Lowering it any more is pretty much out of the question (i'm already running H&R race) so i was thinking the Rieger rear bumper would do the trick. Its a really aggressive look that i know not all of you may like, but the rear bumper choices for the ti are slim to nil. Nevertheless, opinions/suggestions please! Here's a pic to refresh your memory: __________________ | | | 04-07-2005, 07:08 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Concord Posts: 326 | I like the look of it, but I think dual exhaust would really set it off. __________________ 1998 318TI DASC•Custom Black Leather Interior w/ Silver Inserts•AC Schnizter:Pedals/Shift Knob/E-Brake Handle•Aluminum Gauge Faces•Alpine Speakers/Tweeters•Custom False Floor System•K&N Filter•Hi-Flow Z3/ti 97’•M3 Clutch•Lightweight Flywheel•Turner Motorsports SSK•H&R Race Springs•Racing Dynamics:Front Strut Brace/Sway Bar/Shocks/Bodykit/Rear Spoiler•Brembo Cross-Drilled Rotors•Supersprint Exhaust•19” Seducer Wheels•M3 Mirrors•Clear Corner Lights/Side Markers•Euro Taillights•DZUZ Fastened•3.73 LSD | | | 04-07-2005, 07:08 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Concord Posts: 326 | But to answer the question... It wasn't an insert either, it was a full bumper. I waited around for a bit because I wanted to ask them about it but I didn't see them, then when I came back out the car was gone. Anyways, it looked really good. | | | 04-07-2005, 07:53 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Vancouver, B.C. You think i should just stick with that? __________________ | | | 04-07-2005, 08:10 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: cali Posts: 338 | what are u gunna do for the rest of the kit? __________________ Clean E36 | | | 04-07-2005, 08:22 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Tyler, TX Posts: 1,022 | Front bumper and skirts are changeable, but I have yet to see anything that I think fits the lines of the car better than the M3 looking rear bumper. | | | 04-07-2005, 08:46 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Cherry Hill, NJ Posts: 127 | i like the mtech way better than the rieger i say stick with the rieger man | | | 04-07-2005, 08:54 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Springfield, Va Posts: 164 | Looks too ricey for my tastes. It may look better on a black car though. | | | 04-10-2005, 10:19 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Vancouver, B.C. I keep all my oem bmw parts, so i wont sell the rear bumper if i end up switching it to rieger. __________________ | | | 04-11-2005, 12:46 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Tyler, TX Posts: 1,022 | The reiger rear is starting to grow on me, but the front end and the wheels on that silver ti is just hideous. | | | 04-07-2005, 08:46 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Cherry Hill, NJ Posts: 127 | i mean m tech haha | | | 04-07-2005, 09:04 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Delafield, WI Posts: 471 | Hangs way too low, in my opinion. Too much extra material. I like the M-tech better. | | | 04-07-2005, 09:38 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: PA Posts: 822 | I would stick to the mtech look. Keep it looking like a BMW. | | | 04-07-2005, 10:57 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Tampa Posts: 465 | Damn!!!! Where Do I Get Me One Of This????? Anyone???
