I will be going 6 cylinder over the winter and with that comes a dual pipe exhaust. Just wondering if some one has done this. | | | 09-09-2008, 04:46 PM | #2 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | I've been told by people who've tried it that it doesn't fit. IIRC they made a diffuser with a wider opening for the 323ti, however even that cutout is too small for most mufflers. Clex2 did a nice writeup on plastic welding as he cut his diffuser on his 330ti ClubSport. This is what I plan on doing: http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=10544 __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 09-09-2008, 04:52 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Globally Posts: 1,162 | Thanks Jess, O'll take a look at that. I have an e36 M3 remus exhaust, and I just trimmed the stock rear. __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. S50 cams+pistons, e36 M3 front brakes. H&R race springs F+R. I'm sure I could cut it but doubt it would come out neat. I want it to look oem. | | | 09-09-2008, 08:41 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Rocky Hill, CT Posts: 1,065 | Quote: Originally Posted by M-technik-3 Yes but mine is a M-tech so the bumper has the diffuser already vs scoring and trimming the oem cover.
