I figured since I have a parts car I can test with, I might make a go at this as a possibility for my Cali.

Aside from the BMW M3 coupe kit, has anyone found another compatible remote popper that will may have possibilities? I'm thinking if a mount can be fashioned to adjust for the required angle required. I am thinking to figure out which vehicles have remote window openers and walk the yard to look for a possible match.

The E46 coupes could also be ordered with electric vent windows. I have no idea if they have a more or less favorable geometry.

I just passed on the parts I picked up to a fellow forum member. I came pretty close to installing them, but the project took a back seat a couple years ago then fell off the map. Hopefully he can finish what I could not.

Following intently upon purchasing a e36 coupe motors, switches, connector plugs, Bowden cables and latches (unfortunetly no double relay or wires) and discovering the "latch issue" if I make any break throughs I'll let you all know

I have these modules off an e46 if someone wants to give it a go. $50 shipped. Has the motors with the rod connected to it. Just have to figure out the wiring

If you guys can solve the mechanical issues, I can probably help you surmount any residual electrical issues.
