I'm new at this board and first want to introduce my ti. My name ist Stefan and I live in Fürth(near Nuremberg). I'll try to write good english I bought this 323ti in december 2004. The first months i just drove around and enjoyed the great performance of this car. But the previous owner took no care of this car so I had to replace many parts which are missing or damaged. At the beginning of 2006 I started to modify the car bit by bit. The first change was the switch rod from the Z3 3.0i And so the story of the car began... facts: cubic capacity: 2494cm³ (M52) Vanos 170PS/125KW bei 5500U/Min color: Arktissilver RD: 09/1997 mileage: 215.500km equipment ex factory: passenger airbag alloy wheels sunroof, electric doormats, velours inside mirror automatically screening off sportseats for driver/co-driver heated seats for driver/co-driver adjustable headrests at he backseats air conditioner BMW Business/CD Changer/HiFi HiFi Speaker System individual Soundpackage exclusive package modifications: exterior: repainting in casino royale metallic from the Aston Martin DBS trim, spoilerlip und diffusor in glossy deep black varnished AC Schnitzer Typ II in 8x17 ET38 with 215/45 ZR 17 Hankook VENTUS RS-2 Z212 rims black powder-coated 5mm spacer washers at the front axle 25mm spacer washers at the rear axle M-technics front apron M-technics rear apron M-technics side skirts, Vernturi version M-technics side mirrors LED taillights red/smoke GT-Edges in real carbon BMW emblems full real carbon H7 Headlights CCFL angel eyes G5 clear glass foglights grey front- and sideindicatos gray LED tag light from the E93 spare wheel + carrier removed M5 spoilerlip on the trunklid VisioFlex wiper blades at front and back interiour: M3 Speedometer oil filter cover with sensorports for temperature and pressure M3 Seats, new applied with premium leather and red decorative seams Backseat overstuffed applied in the style of the M3 Seats hatrack also in the same style pedalcovers in real carbon style steering wheel edges in real carbon handbrake lever in real carbon red "BMW Motorsport" belts steeringwheel applied with leather (M-technics style) leather gear knob M-technics leather gear knob cuff short shift switch rod from the Z3 3.0i "323ti"-door sill panel engine: engine swap to M52B28 optimisations at the intake duct K&N replace filter M50 manifold complete two-pipe exhaust system (E36 328 und Z3 3.0i) individual engine map setup M20 one-pice flywheel (7,2kg) Z3 2.8i rear axle differential with 25% Torsen lock and Z3-M cap innovate motorsports wideband lambda controller innovate motorsports LMA-3 multi-sensor-box E46 M3 oil filler cap chassis: H&R CupKit 60/40 bumpstops at the rear springs front axle brake system from the E46 330i (325mm), yellow varnished stiffening elements at the rear axle damper mounting from the Z3 rear axle damper mounting from the E46 M3 Cabrio stiffening cross from E36 Cabrio strut brace up front from Wiechers, polished strut brace up back carbon Goodridge steel-flex brake hoses H&R anti-roll bar kit Powerflex wishbone bearing Powerflex rear axle bearing Powerflex tailing arm bearing Meyle wishbones, HD version Meyle anti.roll bar mountings, HD version hi-fi equipment: Alpine CDA-105Ri Headunit Helix P235 precision 2 way-system Helix A4 competition 4 chanel Amp Helix E300 esprit 30cm subwoofer And now some pics (I still try to find some pics from the purchase shape) exterior | | | | 10-31-2010, 04:54 PM | #2 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | | | | 10-31-2010, 04:56 PM | #3 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | | | | 10-31-2010, 04:58 PM | #4 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | | | | 10-31-2010, 05:22 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: aNYthing Posts: 160 | speechless.. the interior of the car makes me want to go outside and tear it apart.. not so much the carbon fiber but the seats, steering wheel and those gorgeous red seat belts.. not that big on that exterior color but the gloss on the moldings is dope! Not those damn "crystal clear" ones that get used most of the time. On the fence about the painted moldings. I like them, and they do make the car look glossier overall, but I think they'll get dinged up pretty easily and will eventually look like crap. Not a fan of the yellow brake calipers. I think cooljess's look better. They don't suck, I'm just not a fan of the yellow, especially on that car. But, yeah... beautiful car!! __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! BMW_Hatchback asked me to join this board, because he like´s my ti @roadrash: Please don´t worry about the gloss, the time that the ti is driven in all days duty is over. I just drive with it to BMW meetings, our weekly legal streetmeetings in Nuremberg or sometimes enjoy cruising around at perfect wether The yellow brake calipers are not final. I think they fit with the black rims, but I´m still not 100% happy with this color and still looking for a better fitting color (not red, every kid here in Germany paint it´s calipers red ) | | | 10-31-2010, 09:00 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Stephan; beautiful car, very nice! Those seats, did you have them custom made with the red stitching or is that something available for the European market? I vote Daytona Violet for the calipers... I saw the red belts on a ti at the bmw-syndikat board here in Germany and so I wanted to have these belts too A female friend told me that it would look cool if the stitches are the same color as the belts. And the result shows that she was right Thats the reason why I try to keep the main three colors gray, black und red.
