Default Which transmission OIL to use?

Red Line? If so, what model/viscosity?

Are there any instructions on how to replace the oil? Does the car have oil filter in the tranny as well?

I have 1995 318ti - manual

I just use ATF. You can also use MTF.
But lately I've been using BG Syncroshift II.

Ron Stygar again. No filter for the manual box.

Make sure you have short sockets and no adapters on the handle. There's not a lot of space for the fill plug.

AND USE JACKSTANDS/CHOCKS. The getting the fill plug off will rock the car back and forth.
