Default Dome light issues

I have searched but my situation is unique so I thought I would make a new thread to try and figure it out. Back story here, I wired my angel eyes into my dome light circuit, so they fade on and off with my alarm/opening the doors and they have constant power to stay on while the cars running. I accidentally shorted out the power wire while adjusting my headlights with the car running. I found a blown fuse and replaced it (the one for windows, vanity mirror lights and pass/driver side overhead lights, not sure of the fuse number, 43 I think) but my problem still isn't solved, the dome light stays on when the car is running and all the doors are shut. The door was open and dome light on when I shorted it out. Also it does go out when the car is off and doors are shut but it seems to take longer than normal to finally fade out. Now the weird part, my airbag light came on later for 5 minutes while driving and then went out again. Did I fry some sort of module, maybe a body control module that airbag and dome lights would all be tied into? If I did can I replace it, plug and play or does it need to be programmed to my car?

In the wire that goes to the angel eyes put a diode, not a LED, to make sure that energy won't come to the dome light by this wire.

Thanks, I figured it out an hour after I posted, I had diodes in there when I shorted it they popped and let power feed back to the dome light.

Good you solved it.

And I really like your idea of light on the angel eyes when the internal lights turn on. May help me a lot to find the car in dark.

Here's a video of them tied into my dome lights (dome lights are wired in with my keyless entry/alarm system)
