The TA doesnt look terrible on the contour but if you have to do it color match the TA stripe to your car, that would be better than what your planning. 2nd-ed on the fixing of the front end..... __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 05-25-2008, 06:22 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | i think you should do a few things before you put these wheels on.... whats the status of the body kit? __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 05-25-2008, 06:28 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | my graduation present is going to be having the front bumper and sideskirts mounted and painted and have the lower part of my rear bumper painted | | | 05-25-2008, 07:10 PM | #8 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Quote: Originally Posted by tiFreak as for red and cordobarot, red is my favorite color, cordobarot is the color car I got stuck with it at least looks better than my friends green escort with red neons and accents | Why not strive for making your car look "great" or even just "good" instead of "only 99% as crappy-looking as my friends car"?? Set your goals/standards a little higher! Even though it may not be your favorite color, Cordobarot is still a great color and with some tasteful mods... oh wait... you don't like what I'd call "tasteful" mods. My bad. LOL Hell, you're not going to buy them anyway, so what do I care? :-p But, honestly, I think chrome wheels would look better with Cordobarot than with many other colors. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Im not trying to be rude, but seriously man... what do you think is cool about the things you've done to your car? ... if you think im discouraging, post your car up on BF.com and ask for opinions. __________________ 11/97 Base 328Ti | | | 05-26-2008, 03:27 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | Is the time attack style played out? I haven't really seen anyone rock them, especially on a ti. Then again, I don't see very many manufacturers making them, are they usually a custom job? Anyways, I'm pretty partial to the BBS multi-spoke style wheels, but these kind of catch my eye. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand 18x8 Offset: +40mm Bolt Pattern: 5-120 Rec. Just looking at your sig, the roundel, plate and grills stick out, sharply. | | | 05-26-2008, 04:02 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Imitation TA + Contours + Cordobarot FTL, sorry Pauly. There are several threads on bf.c about repainting wheels yourself. Look in the Z3 forum for someone who redid some M Roadstars with off the shelf wheel paint. BMW also had a really nice smoky silver on their e39 M5's called shadow silver- that would look fantastic with Cordo red and still be different. You should think about getting the front windows tinted too. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
