96 ti sport with M-tech bumpers, the rear bumper seems to be a 2 part bumper. On my car after long drives, the unpainted section of the bumper seems to "come out" and look like its going to come off, which I don't want it to do. What keeps this part of the bumper on? I asked the exact same question. The dealer says it used these clips and screws. I went under the car, and saw some notch outs for some kind of clips, but not sure how it all stays together. I have been under there a few times, and it seems like nothing really supports it in the middle. #4 and #5 are at the ends, but its seems almost as if double sided sticky tape is what really held the valance to the bumper. I could imagine that losing it would look nasty with the huge spare tire well ultimately being exposed more openly, so i definitely don't want to lose it. Currently using electrical tape in the center to keep it from flying off, seems to be working and it isn't too noticeable, although I would like to have the situation remedied more permanently | | | | |
