I currently have a 2000 328ti with all the sport options and love the car. Looking forward to owning a 318ti and enjoying the forum! | | | 09-22-2005, 02:51 PM | #2 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | The car you have now is it a ti with a 2.8l engine in it? Or is it a euro 328ti model? Why not just stick with what you got,it's faster and probally alot more fun to drive. Either way welcome to the board. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 09-22-2005, 03:08 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: North Saint Paul, MN Posts: 606 | Yeah I'm wondering what exactly you have too. There were only four years of ti production: 95,96,97,98. Is that true? __________________ 1998 BMW 318ti M-Tech Sport Silver (Gone to member leeko617) CURRENT: 2015 BMW X1, 2004 BMW 330ci Convertible, 1998 Porsche Boxster, 2001 BMW 525i Touring GONE: 2000 Audi A4, 2002 VW Passat, 1985 VW Cabriolet | | | 09-22-2005, 11:58 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Brecksville/Cleveland Ohio Posts: 259 | Yes true... Cept for the car mentioned above. They made some TI's in the EURO market and I am guessing that since this car was proabably purchased in Canada It is a EURO version. So basicly I am saying that for the American Market TI's stopped in 99 on the 318 and I have'nt heard of too many TI's of other models in the USA so I hope that sums it up for you. __________________ "Driving to slow, THAT'S TI ABUSE"!!!! So your car never existed! __________________ 1998 BMW 318ti M-Tech Sport Silver (Gone to member leeko617) CURRENT: 2015 BMW X1, 2004 BMW 330ci Convertible, 1998 Porsche Boxster, 2001 BMW 525i Touring GONE: 2000 Audi A4, 2002 VW Passat, 1985 VW Cabriolet | | | 09-23-2005, 06:33 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: England Posts: 177 | lol.
