Should i be worried about that? 2) The top metal peice on the new thermostat is shaped differently than the oem one. Will that cause any problems? | | | 12-21-2005, 11:47 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: PA Posts: 822 | It can't be worse then the chunks of the water pump impellers that broke up and are now in my stepdads engine in his vw passat vr6. | | | 12-22-2005, 12:10 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Lake George, NY Posts: 338 | well i took it for a drive and everything seems to be going well... The one behind the motor is a b1tch to get at. There is one under the lower intake manifold, that one takes 2 hours to get to. Both of mine broke on seperate occations. Oh yeah, The top plastic hose holder on my radiator broke in half too. I've replaced almost the entire cooling system! __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 12-22-2005, 04:16 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Lake George, NY Posts: 338 | oh great! something to look forward to | | | 12-22-2005, 04:22 AM | #8 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | Quote: Originally Posted by DustenT Just wait until the rest of the collant parts start to break!
