Removed fuel rail hoses and capped injectors. I feel a difference a little in the throttle and on take off. Will report in a month on how it's doing

new tie rods (inner and outer). Alignment tomorrow. Drove it to Santa Barbara, CA. Almost 30mpg with new cams and a chip... very pleased __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. You would think since the automatics are actually a higher gear ratio when in 4th over it would get about the same as a 5 speed. I constantly hear people telling me with their 5 speeds they get around 30. So you got a chip? Man, driving all the way to Santa Barbara I would have had a whole bag of chips....  I wonder if a chip would help out with mileage on my automatic. I always heard it makes the car run a little richer, so I don't think so. Yours probably works because of your other mods. Ordered a high speed fan relay from my local dealership in an effort to get my radiator fan to run without the A/C being in use. got the new motor and transmission mounts in, motor mounts were a complete PITA but the transmission mounts were simple. Made a huge difference in the dynamics of the car but theres still a little thump or something with hard acceleration, any ideas? __________________ 1999 BMW 318ti

That was after suspecting the center load bearing. __________________ ...steven
