Default Ti half shafts with a 188 diff

Hi every one, just a quick question I know you can use ti half shafts with 188 diffs and there tight to fit but how long will they last before the extra stresses from being so tight? I'm putting one on today I have a 3.15 lsd from a z3 it's NOT the torsen type it's a clutch type lsd hoping to get it already for next weekends BMW show at santa pod 2.8 goodness going down the strip

I've got 5000 miles on the car since I swapped the med case 3.73 back in. I used the stock ti axles. No issues so far.

The miles have been mostly driving to/from track day and autox events. The suspension articulates more on track than any street driving I do.

Guys with Z3s actually had their stock axles pull the stub shafts out of the diff on track because the suspension articulated so much. One guy had spacers made up and others sourced porsche axles that are a bit longer.

Cheers for the info, got it all in easy enough didn't have to hammer them in. Had to chop a bit off the diff as the exhaust was hitting it slightly but other then that pretty straightforward

Bloody he'll what a day Sunday was, left early in the morning about quarter to 5 got there for 9. On the way up if I went above 90 there was loads of vibration from the back end I eased off sat at 80 most of the way there other then that all nice and smooth (not for long) got there and and was thinking do I throw it down or not f#ck it that's what I built if for I told my mate. Only went down 3 times fastest was 14.7 at 97mph. Here's a couple of videos I put up on you tube

Well it was fun but I ****ed the car on the way back I couldn't get above 50 with out being shaken to death. Phoned up the Rac what a mappet. He turned up jacked up the rear and said "cor this is highly modified" and then refused to tow me home bloody prick. Apparently according to the small print in breakdown cover if you use your car in any kind of motor sport they have the right to refuse so I said I dint do anything I was a spectator the prick still refused so I had a 230 mile drive home at 50 vibrating like **** I think it's the passenger side drive shaft. I'll have it off this weekend and have a look it was a good day gave my car death down the track.

That's about what my 2.8 Z3 Coupe runs with a tune, CAI, pulleys and headers. Good numbers for the 2.8 ti!
