If it's well maintained and gets a thorough check out I'd say $3500-$4000. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 11-03-2007, 03:11 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | i think its a little high i bought my 1998 Ti for $4700 and it had 125k miles on it the interior was in excellent condition except for a little tear on the leather driver side seat. It also came with pioneer stereo and amp and a sub. You should see if he can at least drop it down to $4000. | | | 11-03-2007, 03:39 AM | #5 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | Quote: Originally Posted by thesk8nmidget also how do you tell what package it has? | does it list the VIN? if you shoot Mallard a private message with the last 7 digits of the VIN he can get you some good info on the original build of the car. he has a thread going with such details. __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 head unit, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, staggered style 68s, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest, JT Designs metal undertray acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts 2002 X5 4.4 Sport Package, 53.5k miles Current Mods: e46 m3 steering wheel | | | 11-03-2007, 03:41 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | i agree with Dave. this car will probably need $500.00 worth of attention as soon as you get it home. 4K is fair __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 11-03-2007, 03:52 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | so i talked to him tonight and will be going to see it tomorrow some time and he has pretty much all the records and clutch was done a year and a half ago. anytime it has gotten a leak he has taken it in to have the leak fixed via new gaskets. its all been shop work. he said he doesnt wanna go much lower but will talk more money once i get there he made it seem like if i had the cash he would go lower. | | | 11-03-2007, 05:13 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: SFO,Ca.
