Default Cruise control retrofit

I have a 1997 318 ti m44 engine auto
I bought all the pieces to rtrofit the cruise
The main problem is hooking them into tach speed etc behind the guages

I have had the parts for more than a year and hooked up all I could but unsure what goes where.

The colors should match but don't I have seen videos on it but stopped after I could not get it going.
Also was not sure what auto , clutch, and brake signals were needed.

Anyone with details would be great

I wish I could help. I sourced all the bits, some new, most used, then took the whole mess to my indie BMW mechanic. Too complicated an install for me to do. Parts and labor totaled about $1k. Worth it me me, though. John

I just want to know which wires to what other colors, I talked it over with the guy I bought the stuff from, he acted like all colors would be the same.

You will need pages 203-204 for the cruise control schematics in the electrical manual.
Then you will need the splice/connector location views on pages 268-271 in the electrical manual.

Hi! Can you help me with connecting CC Switch pins?
in the electrical manual there is 5 wires in CC Switch connector (blue/wight, blue/green, blue/grey, blue/black and violet/yellow), but on my CC Switch i have a mismatched 2 wires (i have violet/wight and blue/yellow). Where i must connect them?

Спасибо что вызвался помочь, я уже прозвонил контакты ручки круиза и переделал. Все работает....Собираюсь товарищу на купе ставить. У него мотор м42, есть разница какой блок брать или можно с компакта?

@bazar01 can you send me the schematics too? I'd like to retrofit it to my ti.
