I hear grinding and it won't open or close more than an inch. I forced it closed with force so it doesn't get wet, and the coiled thing that it turns appears to have lots of furry metal stuff around it (I figured metal shavings). Anyone know more about this? Anyway, I think I need a new motor. So... anyone with a Cali Top Motor please send me a PM. Thanks!! | | | 10-04-2008, 08:20 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2008 Location: Oxnard, CA - SoCal Posts: 258 | Quote: Originally Posted by pnosker My motor appears to be shot... Anyone have an E36 touring? haha | | | 10-06-2008, 03:48 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Quote: Originally Posted by Mallard no, the motor can also be used from an E36 touring. | I got the e36 touring motor from my dealer. It was right next to the hens teeth. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
