Well, my Brospeed exhaust is no more...I got rear-ended a few weeks ago and my exhaust got crumpled. Due to back order, I switched to supersprint. Contrary to what I have read, my mechanic had trouble with the fit, esp. the forward hanger. The exhaust is a bit off center, but nothing too major. I don't know what the weightsavings is comp. to the brospeed, but this system has two silencers, so it's much quiter (good or bad thing?) The tip is also more conservative.

Just thought I would throw that out there.

Cheers,
Dan

Dan, what kind of rear bumper valance do you have? Is it the stock one, cut to accommodate the twin pipes?

Also, by off center, do you mean that the tailpipes aren't centered in the valance opening, or that they're sticking out at a bit of an angle? (Or both?)

Sorry that wasn't clear...
the rear valance is stock (Clubsport - has the Mtec rear end)

It is not cut to fit twin pipes, as the supersprint i ordered is only the single pipe and fits in the regular space allowed. Looking at the back of the car, the exhaust is too far to the left. Tell you the truth, I don't know if it's the exhaust or the car since my last exhaust was a bit off center, too. My mechanic said outright that he was disappointed in the overall fitment though - how it fit to the cat and lined up with the hangers, etc.

I'm having the valance redone by the body shop today - I'll post results tomorrow.

In all, I do really like the supersprint. Now that I'm 25 and out of the boyracer scene, it's nice to have a good looking but not too extroverted exhaust.

I'll tell ya what...I think I got a bum Supersprint. There seems to be a problem with how it lines up with the hangers and it is constantly being pulled over to the left. Now I have an altered rear valance when I prob. should have just sent the exhaust back. I'm going to get under there this weekend and see if I can't do something with the hangers to make it line up correctly. Wish me luck.

I had the same problem with mine, I had to get up under there and bend one of the hangers on the Supersprint system to get it to look right and stay in place.

just out of curiousity, have you guys checked your engine mounts?

I had the same problem, but after I changed my engine mounts (they were both broke) the problem resolved itself..

weird huh?

One of mine got busted, and then I replaced, still had the same problem.
