You could have a bad regulator or crushed fuel line and no actual fuel hitting the cylinders. Check all fuses also as you could have one blown that isn't opening the fuel injectors. __________________ 01 740iS Cosmos Black 97 318ti Boston Green 99 318ti Titanium Silver 13 X5 3.5XDrive Cosmos Black 97 318ti Alpine White (gone but not forgotten) 88 325iC Schwartz Black (sold) 97 740iL Schwartz Black (sold) 84 633csi Schwartz Black (sold) 96 318ti Alaska Blue (sold) 08 X5 4.8i Titanium Silver (sold) | | | 04-01-2016, 01:54 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Jax, FL Posts: 541 | A bad (cut) inline-fuse gave me the exact same symptoms. | | | 04-01-2016, 02:35 PM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2015 Location: North carolina Posts: 27 | Quote: Originally Posted by Shellback A bad (cut) inline-fuse gave me the exact same symptoms. | Oh really? Since you sated that it would start and run a bit when you shot starter fluid into the intake, I'm thinking you have spark but no fuel to the cylinders. Thus the issue becomes electrical to the fuel injectors. As was mentioned a fusible link, fuse, wiring etc... is the culprit as I would doubt all of the injectors would have died at the same moment. __________________ 01 740iS Cosmos Black 97 318ti Boston Green 99 318ti Titanium Silver 13 X5 3.5XDrive Cosmos Black 97 318ti Alpine White (gone but not forgotten) 88 325iC Schwartz Black (sold) 97 740iL Schwartz Black (sold) 84 633csi Schwartz Black (sold) 96 318ti Alaska Blue (sold) 08 X5 4.8i Titanium Silver (sold) | | | 04-04-2016, 12:17 AM | #11 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2015 Location: North carolina Posts: 27 | Quote: Originally Posted by 740isport If you are getting full fuel pressure to the injectors and nothing past, then you have something electrical keeping the fuel injectors from sending fuel into the cylinders.
