I can't figure you guys out. People keep asking to borrow the tool, but no one wants to put some money ahead of their mouth. If you don't want to use a paperclip you could go to homedepot and make a reset tool using two pieces of wire and a two pole switch. If you are going to buy a peake tool I'd buy the one that can also read the OBD codes. | | | 08-27-2006, 05:57 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | Probably waiting for near the end of the auction. It's true what mohaughn said about the other tool that can read codes. More useful than just resetting. | | | 08-27-2006, 07:00 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by StealthBimmer Probably waiting for near the end of the auction. Obviously people buy them otherwise Peake wouldn't see it. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti 2003 MINI Cooper S 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 08-27-2006, 07:42 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Southern California Posts: 456 | I have one. if u dont...BUY IT! __________________ SPEED IS NOT AN EQUATION CONSISTING OF DISTANCE DIVIDED BY TIME. I got all my green bars again. When you connect pin 19 and 7 for 5 sec, you should be able to hear a low pitch sound disconnect the paper clip and then check your bars. Follow the simple instruction from the link of the previous post and you'll do fine. | | | 10-29-2006, 07:34 PM | #14 | Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Mullica Hill NJ Posts: 32 | the paperclip method sounds a lil sketchy are you sure it really worked? i dont wanna mess my **** up __________________ Yep im the a$$hole, the a$$hole that drives a bimmer | | | 10-29-2006, 09:33 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: SoCal Posts: 549 | Quote: Originally Posted by T-Huss the paperclip method sounds a lil sketchy are you sure it really worked? i dont wanna mess my **** up | worked on my Ti and my M3. __________________ 318Ti Sport (Gone, but thanks for your years of service) | M3 E30 | 190E-16V | M Coupe E36/8 | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
