I recently fitted a HID xenon conversion kit to my car and I now want to fit these bulbs into a set of Projector headlights... I can only find projector lamps with Angel eyes on the net, I want the projectors but without the Angel eyes..... I think theres writeups on how to convert HIDs onto projectors on Understeer, but not certain. __________________ Nick 1995 BMW 318iC. Most projectors run H1 Bulbs :/ __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts . I have fitted 9006 HIDs into them and they look relly nice. I have had a couple of people flash me which are travelling towards me, so they must be to bright or producing the wrong beam in my standard headlights that is why I want projectors to try and stop this happening...... Do you think this will resolve the problem with projectors? They company I bought them from has assured me that they are 100% legal and I will not have any probs with them..... | | | 06-06-2007, 09:21 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | Quote: Originally Posted by Mike-evans1 Yes Iam running standard headlights. It just sounds like an alignment issue, but projectors do put the light out nicely, my only concern is trying to find projectors with 9006 bulb sockets :/ Good luck mate __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts . Its cheap and does the job. Don't buy the one with angel eyes! __________________ | | | 06-06-2007, 09:54 PM | #8 | Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: South Wales Posts: 43 | Thanks, Do you think that my standar headlights should work ok with my HIDs, or do you recomend I buy the projectors, or could it be just an incorrect alignment issue? | | | 06-06-2007, 09:54 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | Quote: Originally Posted by adamud | Those DEPO's are H1's not 9006, also he doesn't ship to Great Britain unless he arranges something. __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts . Here is an example of them for sale on Ebay of UK: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PAIR-BMW-E36-O...QQcmdZViewItem __________________ Present: `99 M coupe Past: `91 330is; `95 318ti Active; `93 325is; `97 318ti Sport; `89 332is | | | 06-06-2007, 11:08 PM | #15 | Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: South Wales Posts: 43 | Do you have a roguh idea what these cost new? and where I can get them from? | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Thread Tools | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
