Yeah You need to trick the car with a fake neutral/park sensor. Minor rewiring under center console.

Seem to remember mine did, when I converted the pos 318is we converted from a M42 to an S52 for lemons racing. I beat my head around for an hour when all it would do is turn over continuously. Then I did a DUH and did a quick search on wires to redo. Literally two of them just to fool the TCM?
