E36 compact conversion - any advice much appreciated :)

Hi everyone, i have a 1997 E36 318ti compact and a 1997 E36 323se saloon.... has any body done the dash and onboard computer conversion?? got all the engine side and running gear sorted out... now time to work out the interior loom and dash

I would keep the 318ti dash stock; that is, leave it alone. I think of the few accolades I get about the compact, the dash is probably the most common.
