I'm really not sure how I feel about the widebody kit in general, but personal taste aside that is an awesome car and is definitely a one of a kind ti (though there isn't much "ti" left in her, hehe). Wish there were more pics of the engine and some specs. A while back... don't remember how long ago, there was a member here who was working on some custom body kit... anyone know what happened with that? (sorry for vague reference... lol -- off to do some research) | | | 08-23-2006, 09:51 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: PA Posts: 822 | | | | 08-23-2006, 09:54 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: CA Posts: 104 | rice | | | 08-23-2006, 09:59 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Pennsylvania Posts: 218 | Quote: Originally Posted by madfronter | This is why I love our boards . The front bumper looks out of place and the E30 wide body doesn't seem to mesh well on a ti. I also don't like the side exhaust. The engine is awesome though. I think its weird that you fill up the fuel tank through the roundel on the rear trunk lid. A lot of money was put into this car. | | | 08-24-2006, 02:53 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | I like the engine ,side exhaust, rear ground effects, and I kinda like the wide body. I do think its pretty close to ricey but its got some pretty nice things about it. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 08-26-2006, 01:05 AM | #10 | Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Greensboro, North Carolina Posts: 77 | I love it. The front bumper had to grow on me for a second, but I love that car. Definetly a good job done on that! __________________ my new world | | | 08-28-2006, 07:41 AM | #13 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Posts: 5 | I know my input is completely layman, but, I think that the super-wide body harks back to those BMW racers from the 70's. I have no idea if that was the intention. In art, sometimes inspiration has a flow, so, maybe that car's design shares a few sparks from the widebody coupes of yore. Either way, it's ballsy and unique, and I bet the driver loves the crap outta it. Love the widebody. LOVE. Though... now... it's been done... *sniff* | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
