So I am going to see blue '95 5sp with 106K miles for $4,500 at a used car dealer near Boston. Price looks fine for the miles and based on Carfax it seems like previous owner serviced car at the dealer. Any money-pits to watch out for? I am so thrilled! | | | 06-08-2007, 08:34 PM | #2 | Site Moderator Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Naples, Florida Posts: 238 | Well, sounds like a good deal to me. Take pics and post them up when you go see it. Then everyone will be able to throw in their opinion. __________________ Nick 1995 BMW 318iC. I just feel if I wait with a decision to buy I might loose this deal too. I've been already late twice on some sweet deals. Here are pics. Looks like active package, but I'd love the sport seats. | | | 06-08-2007, 09:16 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Muncie, Indiana Posts: 1,551 | Its a nice color and a great year. | | | 06-09-2007, 10:00 PM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Stamford, CT Posts: 20 | Went there ready to take it, but unfortunately it needed body work for like one grand - rust and bad dent on passenger side. Not shown in pics and not told about when inquired over phone. Will keep looking... | | | 06-09-2007, 11:21 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Hawaii Posts: 124 | Yea man, looking around on the east coast is tough. I found mine in Greenwich, CT. I paid more for it because of that stuckup area but it was fully serviced and well cared for. Just plan making a trip for it and you can find one. Best of luck looking. | | | 06-11-2007, 02:32 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Stamford, CT Posts: 20 | Well, I am out of 318ti scene. I came across a classified that same evening that I came from Boston, listing '92 325ci. Saw the car next Sunday morning and purchased it. Excellent condition despite 200K miles, came with hard top, snows and some extra parts. **owner's pics*** | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
