Default 325 front brake setup and 15" wheels

Just to confirm before I start buying parts, will the 325 front brake setup fit behind the stock 15" ti alloys? Also will someone verify my parts list and tell me if everything is correct, and if i may be missing something...

325 front calipers with carriers (any year e36 325)
front rotors (vented 325)
pads (325)
new sensor wire, and possibly rebuild kits for the calipers

thanks in advance
-ian

The list is right, but I think you might need atleast a 16in. wheel.

Calipers will fit behind 15" steel wheels too.
The pads are the same as 318.
Sensor is reusable from your old one.
BTW- 325 and 328 brake setups are the same.

^^he is right. Even with this setup, when you are running a 6cyl under the hood, the brake wears so fast.

So what is the consensus, will the 325 setup fit behind 15" ALLOY wheels?

The E36 325i rotors and the E36 318ti rotors (unvented & vented) are all 286mm diameter. So 15" wheels will fit.

The E46 325i is a different story. That bumps up to a 300mm rotor and will require 16" wheels or larger.

Thumbs up

I did the vented "325" upgrade. Works fine under 15 inchers (on which my winter tires reside).
