Default DISA delete, M42 manifold on M44, etc

Intake manifold is free in FSP, so I'm looking for any little gains out there. Has anyone either deleted their DISA valve and shown gains, or swapped out the M44 manifold for the M42 (rumor is it works better).

Thanks!

I have a DISA delete on the M44. I'm boosted. I did not notice any loss in power down low from the DISA being eliminated.

Did you just put in a block off plate and leave it hooked up to avoid codes?

Welded the hole shut and wrote the error out of the code. You can leave it plugged in like most DASC'ed cars and it won't throw any codes

I believe Luca (ZetaTre) also used a 100ohm 10 watt resistor on the DISA connector, and that keep the CEL off as well (with the DISA unplugged).

Anybody else try that?
I just set mine up too... w/ the resistor. Will be testing it soon.

Luca's system was very sucessful and there is a DIY on that with parts list. I talk to him occasionally.

Haha... well, Johnboy, I know you contribute a ton too...
I spoke w/ Luca recently as well.. nice guy, and very helpful...

Anyway, I recently took BOTH your tips, and built a DISA & SAP simulator into one box! I also built a spare SAP simulator as well.

I still haven't commited to totally removing the SAP just yet, but the DISA will be removed (w/ DASC kit, NickG tuning, AND Luca's resistor tip).

Strangely, NickG mentioned to me that his program can rid the CEL when the DISA is removed, but it still stores a code. I'm hoping Luca's resistor will keep it clean.
