Agree whole-heartedly. The wealth of info, organization, easy search, and most importantly - politeness of the community on this forum (and some others I'm in) make me want to be in for the long haul!

I looked for half a year for a ti on FB, only to find one on here exactly when I was ready to pick one up. The one I bought turned out to be really well cared for and a good deal to boot. I just got back into old bimmers a year ago. I can get a few tidbits of good info using FB groups but mostly the forums are where I can find what I need to know in an organized fashion. I will say that the V8 e36 group has been tremendous on FB. The Ti group has it's welcoming and gurus also.

...dang it. Looks like my "site supporter" has lapsed....I know my credit card is around here somewhere. Can't have Stephen supporting the whole damned thing!

P.S. Car prices, even for these old junk ones, is crazy right now. ..I make a practice of walking around my town with my pants pockets inside out. ...credit card is around here somewhere....
