Unhappy Protecting my 318ti from the parkway?

I've recently taken an internship that makes me take the parkway to get to it and after driving for a few months I can really notice the damage to my car. There are so many new chips on the front bumper and hood of the car... Also a rock had hit my windshield and I hadn't noticed it but a huge crack formed just today. I am going to have to replace it now.... Anyone have any ideas on how to protect my car from future damage? I bought some touch up paint for the chips but it doesn't look as nice as if it was repainted, which I cannot afford at this time.

There is really nothing you can do to avoid windshield damage except to stay away from trucks.

Paint chips is just a road hazard. If you had your hood painted, you can get some 3M film put on it.

There's not much you can do. I just tell myself, it's a 15 year old car.

Alright I'll keep that in mind Thanks for the advice, and yeah it's going to be 13 this year so I'm not too upset I just don't want it to get too bad.

Don't feel bad. My car's nose was pristine before I bought it. Street parking and the repaving of 95 two months after I bought it made short work of it. Make sure none pass through the primer and it won't rust. Keep rust at bay and the body will last as long as you like. If you feel so inclined you can have it painted in the future. Maybe after those lottery winnings come in.
