The guy says that its got 255hp at the wheels and gets 34 mpg around town. I don't believe either of that, i don't even see how its possible. He is only runnin 8 psi and said the engine is slightly bored out. What type of mileage can i expect with "spirited" driving? I'm sure they last and are reliable if ya take care of them but are they known for any major problems? Are they easy to work on? I know that since its german its not gonna be simple but is it easy enough that you can do most stuff on your own and not have to pay a shop/dealer? '255hp'? hope you are ready to ask some very detailed questions about this motor... like who / when /where was this car put together? otherwise 72K is not much - despite the SC... I installed my DASC @ 135K - I got 173K right now, with no issues. take pics - post them on this site... __________________ SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD! How he gets 255 hp I have no idea (nor do I believe him) but you could easily dyno over 200 with stage 3 injectors, software, etc. Get more details and post them here. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 03-13-2009, 05:17 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | I dynoed 235 to the fly with my TT3 setup... but wow 255 RWHP? City sucks though, around 29 or so mpg. My old active got ~39 regularly on highway and 32 city. | | | 03-14-2009, 03:28 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Charlotte / Thomasville NC Posts: 240 | my 97sport gets about 37hwy and 30city... it's stock | | | 03-14-2009, 06:53 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: NJ Posts: 1,625 | i get roughly 400 miles to the tank - my daily commute is 100 miles (90% Garden State Parkway) & so the speed is 75-85mph for about 90% of the commute... i'm sure I could get more miles per tank if i sloowed down a bit. __________________ SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!
