Not to mention that $4500 115K mile ti most likely will cost you $1K-$2K more in the first year mechanically. | | | 04-01-2010, 03:23 PM | #92 | Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Woodstock Posts: 35 | ti Nice car. Has new tires and m contour staggared 17 inch wheels too. MOST TI'S FOR SALE REQUIRE $2000 WORTH OF WORK, NOT THIS ONE, YOU NEED NOTHING, keep this in mind, please. | 318ti, perfect, and automatic should not be used in the same breath. | | | 04-07-2010, 02:30 AM | #99 | Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Toronto-ish Posts: 47 | Hello... brand new member here - this is my first post. I had a 1996 318ti a few years ago but it didn't survive the winter. I've been looking for one recently. I started out looking for one as a project car. Something I could work away at and fix up, etc. After looking around for a few months I ended up going a different route and buying a 1999 not unlike Performanceisland's. PI... don't budge on your price. Everything you said is correct. I found this out after looking at far too many ti's that were in supposed good/excellent shape. My opinion was that I could either buy one and sink $$ into it to get it up and running or I could spend a few more dollars and start off right by getting a solid vehicle. The DASC alone is worth $3,500 so at your asking price an equivalent car would go for approx $5,500. Take this one for example with no supercharger... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-3...fCarsQ5fTrucks Wait it out. Someone will come along that is looking for a ti exactly like yours.
