Default OBDII Software - Any suggestions ?

Hi all,

I have an ELM327 based OBDII device which I recently bought on eBay. It's a Bluetooth v1.2a and works perfectly.

http://www.mbtecc.com/book.asp?nid=76&bookid=102

My question relates to software for reading the OBDII data. What is the best Free software (for a Laptop) and is there any which really IS worth paying for ?

I have one small restriction which is that the Bluetooth has setup the Serial Port as Com42 and some software only allows Ports 1 - 8.

Can any OBDII software attempt to reset the SRS light ?

Thanks
Cormac
