The question is:
If there were only 200 of them made, yet the VIN numbers span 438 units, how can you be sure you have a REAL Club Sport and not a car that's within the range and been modified?
I know BMW has a SA code for Club Sport... It's 768 Individual Series "Club Sport". I've just never heard of a ti with that code associated with it.

Just had my interest in 318ti piqued by a Roundel ad for a club sport. After reading thru this thread, I'm scratching my head (like Dave). Either there are 238 imposters sprinkled thru the VIN run or there were at least 438 CS built.
I'm interested because I want to be able to tell that a ti I'm looking at is a CS (or not). Off to Mallards data?

Default Club Sport for your list: WBA***SAM53553

I have a hell rot, sunroof, totally original 318ti Club Sport _ WBA***SAM53553. It was imported to Canada early 2012 I believe.
I would love to have an original sales brochure, any ideas? Also, who at BMW do I contact for original build info, etc.? Thanks.

Default 53594 has reappeared :)

Just acquired 53594 today, it's a bit rough, but should be bring-backable without too much pain (I hope...) Needs paint and body. Regardless, it needed saving.

AM53526
No LSD (but I was told one was later installed, I will do the wheel spin to confirm later).

It needs some help, its in the same condition as any 1995 e36. inside doors are shot, dry trim all over.

It needs some love, but I think I will give it just that.
ps, going from a M3 to this... How the heck do you guys do this without the cruse control??
And I'm thinking of remounting the seat rails further back like they are in my old M3

Hello Snidly, Thanks for the advice last fall on the eBay brochures. I purchased a few of them to go with my little gem of a car. Btw, I've had to put the car up for sale...moving overseas. It's posted on the For Sale section of this site. Cheers, happy driving!
