I read on the DASC website that it doesn't change much but when speaking with a friend about it, he said that because of the way I drive (I take it to redline quite a bit) that it would go down substantially. If anyone has any imput, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks, Lisa | | | 04-27-2006, 06:43 PM | #2 | doesn't care about you. In town it drops a little bit, but never below 25mpg. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 04-27-2006, 06:44 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Montclair, VA Posts: 338 | redlining anytime is bad for your mileage btw so i wouldn't be worried about it man __________________ [SIZE="1"]Current: Cooler, Intake, Headers, Valves, MAF, Exhaust, HIDS (white/blue), 17" ASA tuner with low-pros, tint, dvd/audio, I stand strong; Life's a slinky. | | | 04-27-2006, 07:08 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Minnesota Posts: 41 | Quote: Originally Posted by halobeamin redlining anytime is bad for your mileage btw so i wouldn't be worried about it man | Hmmm, maybe I should change my driving habits to see what kind of mileage I could get. If you drive around 55-65 you'll get a lot better mileage than driving 80 on the highway. Your engine has to work harder to push air out of the way faster. Your 20 mpg in town is directly related to your heavy foot on the skinny pedal. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
