How to lower? With m3 front suspension, and 318ti sport rear suspension What kind of lowering kit can I buy. I'd prefer Koni shocks, and to keep the total bill under $1000 so that I have money left over to do swaybars and antiroll bars From what I've gathered, kits for the M-coupe would bolt on for my situation. If your budget is around 1000 then look for coilovers, there are plenty of choices. I'm waiting 2 weeks to spend another $1k for that to be done, because the guy who CAN do it, is on vacation. Its been 5 weeks so far. | | | 08-01-2005, 09:41 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2004 Posts: 411 | $300 with towing to have a shop called VAC in Philly TRY unsuccesfully to do it. $575 shipped from Active Autowerks for a new(er) computer with EWS supposedly removed. Car doesn't even crank. Everything was checked, and it seems like EWS is still doing its job. AA doesn't take returns. WHAT THE **** Shop tells me if I buy a complete key and ecu package, I'm wasting my money, and it might not work. I think the guy who can do it for $1k did something to my car that only HE can fix, and I can't prove it. I'd kill someone if I knew who | | | 08-01-2005, 11:15 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | whats that bring the total cost so far too ?? __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | 08-02-2005, 07:06 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2004 Posts: 411 | Quote: Originally Posted by stormos whats that bring the total cost so far too ?? | hmm parts $5400 install $1400 ews unsolved $800 wheels and tires $1500 $9100 I did sell old parts in total of $3k, but still, I originally planned to sped about $3k after selling old parts and DASC | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
